Medical Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 22, 2026
1. Clinical Review & Data Access
Your medical records, photographs, and consultation notes are strictly confidential. They are exclusively reviewed by Dr. Alya Soudani and the assigned JCI-accredited surgical team in Tunisia. Absolutely no unauthorized personnel, third-party marketers, or non-clinical coordinators will have access to your raw medical files.
2. Data Sovereignty & Compliance
For our Canadian patients, HEAL U processing standards are fully aligned with PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and Law 25 (Quebec). You retain complete ownership of your medical data. You have the right to request the total deletion of your electronic health records ("Right to be Forgotten") at any time following your procedure and immediate post-operative care window.
3. Medical Grade Security
All data transmitted between you and our clinical coordinators—including medical history forms and imaging uploads—is protected by 256-bit AES encryption in transit and at rest. Our infrastructure is designed to prevent interception, ensuring your most sensitive health information remains entirely private.
4. Lead Analytics & Cookies
We employ consent-first cookies to analyze site performance and manage consultation requests. These non-medical tracking tools (such as Google Analytics) are strictly separated from your personal health records. By interacting with our lead capture system, you consent to basic contact tracking, which you can revoke via your browser settings or our cookie banner.
